You’ve just stumbled upon your newest go-to gathering place for modern Mexican fare, honest ingredients, and the kind of love you’ve come to expect only from mama’s cooking (not to mention a killer drink menu).
You strike us as one with a penchant for street tacos and spicy margs. Good news–they’re already on the way.
Whether you’re passing through for happy hour on a Thursday night, starting the weekend slow with an iced horchata, or catching up over cocktails and candlelight, our patio beckons.
Our relaxed California attitude is made better by the kind of “y’all come back now” attitude that made Southern hospitality famous. Stay awhile and we’ll show you what we mean.
With the right attitude, a late night taco is just hours away from becoming a breakfast taco. The good news? We’ll be open for both. Let’s swap your marg for a cold brew and call it a night.
We like our ingredients like we like our coffee: Bold, impeccable, and local. Did we mention our espresso machines are stocked with beans by Montgomery’s very own Prevail Coffee Roasters?
Whatever brings you to La Chiquiada, all are welcome to come as they are. Together, we’ll toast to your good fortune, fuel the nights you’ll never forget, and look the other way as you cry into your beer. As a hub for community and a destination for togetherness, there will always be a seat for you at our table.
As the owner of La Chiquiada, Catherine’s roots are firmly planted in food, community, and service—the combination of which can change the world. And starting right here at home, that’s what she intends to do.
As a fast-talking Southerner with over a decade in restaurants and hospitality, Catherine’s always been eager to please (with a dash of sass, just for good measure). She has her time in Northern California to thank for her obsession with fresh, local ingredients and Napa Valley wine. An alumna of Auburn University, Catherine knows what it takes to stay cool in the Southern heat. Now, she’s bringing West Coast ease and California cooking back to Georgia. With some good old fashioned Southern charm and a lot of Mexican flavor, Catherine’s on a mission to prove that food has the power to bring people together time and time again.
As the heartbeat behind La Chiquiada, Catherine looks forward to welcoming you with a spicy marg and that special kind of warmth that comes from doing what you
